When Unfairness Dawns unto You

Many things can happen to us in an unfairly manner. Often they draw upon immediate rage and anger because of the feeling of being severely victimized for something that would not normally happen. But they happen everyday; for example somebody robbed your handbag, your boss fired you for something you did not do, your best friend mistook you for theft, or your spouse seem in favor of mostly other things. The big ‘Why’ question sparkles continuously within that drives further alienation and heavy decline in feeling anything worthy of doing anymore. Perhaps you would start subscribing to grudges before stopping communication for a while. But these are similar to incubating negative forces within yourself. Let it go and move on. Frankly speaking, here are some of the things that does not help ‘Solve’ the problem but at least, they help liberate your feelings of unjust and that is important. So what do we do when unfairness dawns?

(1) Calm Down
Firstly, calm down no matter what and this can be done by braking on work, or current engagemets. Go for a walk, meditate, or listen to some good music. Watch a movie is another option while the idea is to settle and balance off the amount of anger by intercepting off those negative thoughts. There is time required to forget about the bad events while preserving time for reasonable thoughts and solace. When your mind is clear get on to think about the problem and take time to consider a way out of it, if it is a situation that you are experiencing.
(2) Reason & Reflect
Reflect on the causes and bring yourself out from the situation while you role play in the sense of being the third party. If you were someone else, how would you see it from another’s perspective? If you were the other person, how would you react? Would you have done the same thing as well? What makes it so? Think carefully and let no emotional aspect deter your vision. Be as fair as possible and apply logical analysis. Perhaps you get to learn more about the actual situation including the reasons behind them. It offers you an option to further improvise, not just for others but for yourself.
(3) Pour It Out
If you think something is not fair, can you speak it up clearly without the need to hold back in order to select the right use of words? (Discount swearing**) Life never was an easy playground to begin with, but at least have you worked out the reasons behind those feelings of severe victimization? Attempt to pour it out not at a person who may usually take on your side, but to another who would use a fair amount of listening skills to help you reason, that would help. Untie the knots of having past discriminations or personal judgements, perhaps the truth may lighten off the amount of unfairness or perhaps, you may earn true consolation.
(4) Move On
Too much unfairness is not healthy at all. Choose to move on or select a better option in order to make it up for the losses. Think of it as a necessary and novel venture and forget about those unhappy encounters. Logically speaking, the original scale of each of our own endeavors should balance off if that venture had been originally correct, but if it turns out to be unfair, there must have been something erroneous or miscalculated all along. It is time to pursue upon yet other more fulfilling or would be appreciated ventures or undertakings.
When unfairness happens, give up the bad parts but do not take the good parts along with it. That is probably fairer. If life is found to be unfair, it should not be really as it should have been fair ever since from the beginning. Work out that fairness equation and preserve some amount of harmony. Be strong.
